Morocco Engagement Session - Sneak Peek

Wow.  What an amazing place Morocco was.  A friend of mine and his family, along with my wife traveled to a bunch of countries in Europe and then ended up in Morocco for the last duration of our trip.  We stayed in Marrakech and shot a bit of an engagement session then drove through the Atlas Mountains to get to where many movies like Gladiator and the Game of Thrones series was filmed (Ouarzazate).  I will definitely be doing a longer write up along with more images shortly.   Here are some teasers for now :)

Abi and Kajan - Chicago Engagement Shoot

Abi and Kajan share a chemistry like no other.  When she proposed the idea of doing her engagement shoot in Chicago I was thrilled.  As a girl who spent most of her studying years there, she knew the spots for pictures and most of all knew the great places to eat!  Of course we all jumped in her minivan and went on a road trip.  From fun moments like when some random guy telling Kajan, "Hey man, you look like a prince... a REAL prince!"  to Abi almost killing us on the way back by pissing off a truck driver, this trip was definitely one to write home about.

Hamshini and Dhileep - Engagament Shoot

Hamshini wanted to include her love of books, outdoors and whimsy in to one shoot.   So the idea of using a tree as a reading lounge came up, and we had to use some balloons and tandem bikes --- you can't have a whimsical shoot without those.

By the time we got to high park to use that tree the sun had set and I had to use my flash to simulate the sun, I think it worked out great!   The next day was perfect, with the beautiful sunshine; and of course balloons and tandem bikes!

Vik and Pearl - Tobermory Engagement Shoot

What are gorgeous trip this was.  Vik and I used to work together a long time ago at TELUS.  I went my way in to photography but we always kept in touch.  He told me earlier on in the year that he will be getting married in May, and would love for me to be there for his wedding day. Unfortunately I was already booked but suggested doing a cool engagement session instead.  So we went up to this beautiful place in Tobermory called E-Terra, and hung out for two days taking awesome images.
