Indoor Couple Session - at Scarborough Convention Centre
As photographers, we may not always have the luxury of an incredible scene to photograph all the time. Your ability to work in ordinary locations with bad lighting and still produce outstanding and glamorous images will set you apart from the crowd. The workshop focuses on the approach and process of creating awesome photographs in a typical indoor “banquet hall” setting.
What you can expect to learn:
How to study and analyze a location to see creative opportunities anywhere, anytime.
Using available light, no matter what it is, to your advantage.
When to use what light; continuous light vs. flash, off camera flash vs. on-camera flash.
Running and gunning with minimal gear - How to get big impact with small set ups.
A look in to Siva's tool box creative gimmickry.
Posing prompts for natural and emotive portraits.
All of this will be taught via a live 3.5 hour shoot, with a break in between and Q&A.
Students are welcome to bring their cameras and off camera lighting equipment. But its best if you were present to pay attention and learn as opposed to shooting over the shoulder. A recording of the workshop will be made, and will be posted on Patreon as a five part series.
